This Blog is intended to throw down art works and trends in the contemporary art world so that anyone interested can join the conversation in an open forum. Rules of engagement: So, like if you say No, I think that Artwork is meaningless and ugly, therefore you think is sucks, say so but, have the decency to credit the artist with a smile badge because they actually did express themselves.
So Great to be in the Summer Institute of Create Make Learn 2017. We made an iPhone stand using acrylic. My first line is...what can be made with basic local materials using accessable software today? With Sarah Sutter from the American School in Tokyo we used Inkscape, homemade bender for acrylic with the laser cutter to make our own designs. With the collaboration with Isadora Marks a University of Vermont Graduate 2017 the logo looked great etched onto the acrylic. It was a simple and free personalized stand (worked great) and looked ready for market. I would hope that in our educational system we see more opportunity through STEAM where all students can work in this design team practice. Thanks All;)
Love the idea of Start with the first line! HMMMMMMM.
